Congratulations on yet another very interesting show. I must admit though that I need to listen probably a couple more times to be sure I've heard it all since I often choose to listen either while relaxing or in a state of semi-conscious exhaustion while trying to relax. In either case I often fall asleep but that is a good thing for my purposes.

Of particular note on the podcast the topic of experience(s) being subjective... as mentioned science also knows this all too well and so generally favors and best documents experiences which fall well into a broad consensus whereby such items are deemed "true". That said, there is still much knowledge edging in with dissonance, wherefrom much if not all progress may ultimately appear.
I have a couple articles posted on my own blog which have the search tag "endorphin" for rapid location. One discusses the endorphin rush of contemplation while the other the endorphin rush of scientific discovery. You might find these interesting to compare with your interview notes.
I also posted one short story which melds a bit of the mystical with some science thrown in which is titled "The BasIs of Knowledge and Power". All of it is of course for the benefit of good fiction but fun nonetheless.
Again, I enjoyed listening perhaps a couple of times already and might do so again to catch any gaps.
P.S. Yes, for most things practice makes perfect, or as close as one can hope to get.
